Google launches Search Console Insights

Search Console Insights helps, content creators and bloggers to better understand their content’s performance. -Google

Search Console Insights is a new experience tailored for content creators and publishers and can help them understand how audiences discover their site’s content and what resonates with their audiences. This new experience is powered by data from both Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

For instance, it can help answer the following questions:

  1. What are your best performing pieces of content?

  2. How are your new pieces of content performing?

  3. How do people discover your content across the web?

  4. What people search for on Google before they visit your content?

  5. Which article refers users to your website and content?

How to access it

Search Console Insights is part of Google Search Console, so anyone with a verified Google Search Console property can use it. We highly recommend that you also associate (link) your site's Google Search Console property with your site's Google Analytics property in order to get much more and much better insights about your content.

For now, Search Console Insights only supports Google Analytics UA properties. They are also working on supporting Google Analytics 4 properties to allow any Google Analytics user to benefit from Search Console Insights.
